After breakfast take a local sightseeing tour of Guwahati. Guwahati is the commercial capital city of the northeastern state of Assam. Formerly known as Pragjyotishpur (the City of Eastern Light). Fixed between the picturesque hills of the eastern flanks of the Himalayan mountain range, Guwahati houses the political capital of the state, Dispur. The gateway to the seven other northeastern states, also referred as seven sisters, Guwahati is a vital tourist base point. Visit Shrimanta Shankardeva Kalakshetra - a place where Assamese history and culture is depicted in a sprawling enclosure, State Museum and visit to Emporiums for ethnic local products. Then take a temple visit to Maa Kamakhya Temple - dedicated to Mother Goddess Kamakhya, Nabagraha Temple - the "temple of nine planets", Sukleshwar Temple - dedicated to Shiva and Balaji Temple. In the evening, take a cruise across the river Brahmaputra (Cruise at additional expenses). Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Shillong. Shillong also called 'Scotland of the East". The place, the people and the climate all combined together to create an amiable atmosphere, to make Shillong Meghalaya an ideal holiday destination throughout the year. Enroute we see Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later take a city tour of Shillong visiting Lady Hydari Park, Wards Lake and Cathedral. Evening visit the markets in the Police Bazar. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee is a stunning location and the year-round rain earned Cherrapunjee coveted entry long ago into the Guinness Book of World Records as the wettest place on earth, the place where the rainfall can be recorded in feet rather than in millimeters. On the way visit Nokalikai waterfalls, lime stone cave. You can also explore some of the caves in and around Cherrapunjee. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast morning is free for leisure. Later check out of the hotel and drive to Shillong. En-route visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Guwahati. On arrival transfer to the airport to board your homebound flight with happy memories of your holiday to India.
