Nabagraha Temple built by the Ahom King Rajeshwar Singha in the 18th century is located on the top of Navagraha Hill, in Guwahati city. Enshrind in the temple are nine Shivalingams, representing the nine (Nava) Clestial (Graha) bodies, with a Shivalingam in the centre symbolizing the Sun. These celestial bodies are Surya (Sun), Chandra (Moon), Chvvaai/ Mangal (Mars), Budha (Mercury), Guru/ Brihaspati (Jupiter), Shukra (Venus), Shani (Saturn), Rahu (North Lunar Node) and Ketu (south Lunar Node).
Sankardev Kalakhetra - located in a beautifully landscaped setting and inaugurated in 1998, is a multi-Arts complex showcasing the rich culture of the state. Named after the most honoured Vaishnava saint and the greatest integrator of Assamese society Srimanta Sankardeva, the Kalakshetra houses a Central Museum where objects and day-to-day articles used by different ethnic groups are exhibited. It preserves the cultural identity of various communities and tribes of Assam by promoting dance, drama, music and art. There is also an Artists’ Village that creates the atmosphere of a typical Assamese community, the Lalit-Kala Bhavan art gallery where exhibitions, art and sculpture workshops are also held, a Heritage Park, an open-air theatre with the capacity to hold 2,000 people, a traditional Vaishnavite temple and the Sahitya Bhavan library of rare books and manuscripts.

[06 Hrs on road] Today after breakfast we ride to Shillong , the roads will be twisting after 30 kms, reach Shillong and later proceed to Langkawet, explore the are and dinner and overnight at camp site.
[05 Hrs on road] Today after breakfast we ride to Mawlynnong (120) – the cleanest village and enjoy the various sites in and around Mawlynnong such as the living roots bridge*, Byrdew waterfalls. After lunch at Mawlynnong, we ride further to Langkawet village, and then we spend some time with the local villages and overnight stay at Langkawet camp.
[06 hrs on road] Today after breakfast we will ride to Cherrapunjee reach Cherrapunjee and explore the area, visit Mawsmai Cave, Thankarang Park, Nohkalikai falls, Dainthlen fall, later after breakfast ride back to camp site. Dinner and overnight stay at camp site.

[05 HRS ON ROAD] Today after an early breakfast we drive to Kaziranga National Park ( 235 kms ). Reach Kaziranga and after lunch we will go for a jeep safari in the Central range of the park for 2 ½ hrs.
Kaziranga National Park:
In the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment.

[06 hrs on Road]Today after breakfast we drive to Kohima – the capital of Nagaland (235 kms), enroute we will pass many villages enroute and local markets, reach Kohima and check into hotel, evening at leisure. Overnight in Kohima.
[05 hrs on road]Today after breakfast visit Khonoma village ( 20 kms / 01 hrs) explore the area and then we drive back to Kohima and after lunch we proceed further to other Angami villages, evening leisure at hotel. Khonoma village has been declared as the first “Green village of the country” because of the initiative taken by the village to stop hunting, logging and forest fire. The village has also taken an odd step by declaring 27 sq kms of its territory as "Khonoma Nature Conservation and Tragopan Sanctuary" (KNCTS). At Khonoma you will find Culture, History and Nature intact together. As we go through the village we will see ceremonial gates, morung, cairn circles, forts, historical sites, age group house, meet local craftsmen weaving shawls and making cane basket.

[07 hrs drive] Today after breakfast drive to Mokokchung( 165 kmsin Mokokchung visit
Mopungchuket, an Ao village. This village lying near Impur the permanent Mission Centre of Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) is making attempts to revive the ancient Ao culture. You will find ‘Morungs’ which are carved Time Pillars. There are ancient artifacts preserved in the village museum and a 100 years old church. Thereafter, take a 30 min village walk where you will find traditional houses. During the day the people of the village work in their paddy fields that surround the village. These paddy field fields are about 1-2 km from the village. However, during your village walks you would come across children and the old folk of the village.
After your visit you proceed to Chuchuyimlang that is 33 km from Mokokchung and takes approx 1 hr drive. This is an Ao Village that is known to spectacularly celebrate the Moatsu Festival with dance, folksongs, indigenous games and tribal chants in the first week of May every year. Here you visit an Ao Museum that houses Ao artifacts. The construction of this museum and its maintenance is a village community effort. From the museum you proceed on a 45 min village walk where you get to see traditional Ao tribal houses.Check into hotel in Mokokchung, lunch and dinner in hotel .Overnight stay in Mokokchung.
