Darjeeling & Sikkim – the eastern Himalayan belt
Day 01: Bagdogra/NJP –Darjeeling
On arrival, assistance at the airport/station and drive to Darjeeling. Check in to the Hotel, rest of the day is free for leisure activities. Darjeeling is full of fun and delights. Located in the cosy lap of Kanchenjunga, Darjeeling invites the foot falls of thousands and thousands of tourists from across the globe. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Darjeeling
Early in the morning, visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchenjunga, Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. It is truly a majestic sight. Drop in at the Ghoom Monastery which is oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875. Have breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute(closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre(closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock and Tea Estate(from outside). Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Darjeeling – Gangtok
Have breakfast at the hotel and drive to Gangtok; afternoon sightseeing in Gangtok visiting Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), Cottage Industry (closed on Sundays), Flower Show Complex and Rumtek Monastery Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Gangtok
Breakfast at the hotel and full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains. Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s waters and along with this visit Baba Mandir. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Gangtok – Bagdogra/NJP
After Breakfast drive to Bagdogra/NJP and on time departure transfer for your onward destination.

- All transfers, sightseeing's & excursions by Air-conditioned vehicles ( Non Air-conditioned) in Hills.
